Is the price quoted all inclusive?
Yes, the price you will be quoted once you have contacted us is the price you pay. This includes a choice of 5 flavours from our range of the high quality ice creams, fruit sorbets, frozen yoghurt. We also supply waffle cones, tubs, toppings, syrups and serviettes. If applicable a small travel charge will be applied if the venue/s are more than 75km from our base. The price also includes, the hire of Ice Cream Bike, Cart or Van decorated to match your colour scheme with a fully trained member of staff, dressed in a traditional ice cream seller's outfit to serve and look after your guests.
Do I have to have the staff member with the bike or Cart and Van?
No, it is possible to hire the bike unmanned with or without ice cream. If you are interested in this type of hire plan why not contact us to compile a package to suit your requirements. Unfortunately, we must have a member of our staff in attendance with the van.
Apart from weddings, what other events can you attend?
We are happy to attend any type of event. Our current list includes, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Christenings, Christmas Parties, Corporate Events, Product Launches, Exhibitions, School Field Days, Charity Events, Fairs, Festivals and Agricultural Shows to name a few. If you are having an event that falls outside any of the above please do not hesitate to call us and we will work closely with you to deliver a plan to suit your needs.
How many guests can you cater for?
At the moment we can cater for up to 2500 people per day.
Can you serve our guests at our reception in the Hotel?
Absolutely, we can serve wherever you wish, inside or outside the hotel or even after the church or registry office. Our Ice Cream Bikes can operate with or without power so whatever the location it is no problem. Please note, that for indoor operation there is a requirement for the doors to be in excess of 34 Inches to allow for access to the reception venue.
What areas do you cover?
We cater all over Ireland and offer a nationwide service.
How far in advance should I book?
Once your date is set for your event, you should think about booking us as we are very busy during the months March through to October. We have had some bookings up to 12 months in advance. However, we will always do our utmost to accommodate your requirements.
Could you decorate the Bike, Cart and Van in my chosen colour scheme?
Yes, we certainly can, simply let us know your colour scheme and we will try our utmost to fulfil your requirements. We are of course only too happy to help where we can to match your chosen colours.
Do you require a deposit upon booking?
Yes, upon booking we require a non-refundable deposit of €50. This deposit secures the dates you have requested for your event. The balance should be paid 21 days in advance of your event; bookings cancelled within 21 days prior to the event will incur a charge of 50% of the full hire charge agreed with the client.
What time frame can you attend our event for?
We can be with you at your event for as long as you wish. The standard hire time is usually approx. 2 hours. however we do allow time to set up and break down outside this time. Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we have public liability insurance to cover up to 6.5million euro. All our catering units are inspected and issued with certificates of competency from our local HSE Environmental Health Officer. All our Staff are trained to meet the current food hygiene standards as set out by the HSE. (HSE. Republic of Ireland Health Service Executive).
